Let´s practice!!

5th level students listen to this song about the most famous city in the World. Then , they  use the following website activities to practice giving directions, prepositions and vocabulary about cities.

• First, students listen to the song without lyrics. They see the images of the city and learn about the " Big Apple".

6th level students use mobile devices to learn more about hobbies, and sports. They check their vocabulary and learn about how to use it.

Sports ( 6th level)

When they finish the first part of the lesson ( 35 minutes), they create a flip story using the app "flipaclip" Their creations have to be related to sports.

Organizing the information before writing a text is very important for writers and students. So , we practice writing about sports with this worksheet.

Children practice present continuous and other contents  listening and singing  these songs and doing  their activities.

We love the World

Why do we love the World? Children answer this question using this beautiful cooperative task.

• First, they write down different answers using "folio giratorio"
• Second, they choose the most important for them.
• Third, they write them on a heart.
• Then, they decide about the technique they are going to use to decorate their World.
• FInally, they finish their creations and present them to the class.

 

School trip

This week 5th level students go camping to Sierra Espuña. We are going to enjoy playing, walking, tellings stories, and having a great time with our friends and teachers.

Students are very nervous, because they are going to spend two nights with their friends and without their families. 

6th level students will go next week as well. We love this activities!!

Practicing questions

Children practice questions and conversation using  the free chatbot of Alice foundation. It is an artificial intelligence foundation that provides the opportunity to have a conversation about everything.
Using this chatbot in class, gives us the opportunity to:

• practice communication
• use formal and informal language
• write sentences
• mantain a conversation

Inventions

Jules Verne was the father of science fiction. He wrote about a lot of different means of transports and   innovative things. Inventions are really important for our daily life. For that reason, our students will think and discuss about the most relevant inventions for them.

1. They list the inventions  individually
2. Then, they list them in groups of four students. They discuss and take decisions
3. We discuss in class about their decisions
4. Finally, they create their own group invention.

 

Giving directions

We start using a robot to give directions and to start using some simple commands. It is the first time we use it, but students get some interesting movements. Children are great!!

Little by little and step by step, we will get it!!

Test your English

Students use classroom mobile devices to test their English level. They do all the activities they can, and check their own answers.
They move freely from one task to the other depending on their levels and progress.
