Challenge: Let´s play!!
It´s Christmas time!! School finishes for Christmas holiday, so students have time to spend with their family and enjoy celebrating this beautiful festival. Our English challenge is really funny: playing games to revise vocabulary and structures.

Christmas cards
Today, 5th level students have created their own Christmas cards for their family and relatives. They love art and they have enjoyed a lot doing this activity.
Cooperative work
This is a great activity for students to cooperate and revise vocabulary related to Christmas.
We use "pencil in the middle" cooperative technique, so students need to take decisions and collaborate to complete the worksheet.

Challenge: Popplet
Students create mind maps using Popplet. They need to write about Christmas vocabulary. They can upload videos and images.
Follow the instructions:
- First, go to Popplet website.
- Register in it.
- Create a mind map about CHRISTMAS VOCABULARY
- Add words, images and videos.
- When you finish, download it and send it to the teacher´s mail .
- You will get an extra point!!

Christmas around the World
Today, it is the second session of our collaborative project ETEN. Students watch this video about Christmas around the World and traditions. Then, they create their ideal Christmas celebrations: food, date, weather, ...... It is a great opportunity for them to collaborate and speak English . Teacher Eugenio from Alfonso X school is the responsable of the class today, and I visit his school.

Challenge: QR generator
This challenge is really interesting!! Children learn how to create a QR code. At the moment, students can read these type of codes, but they don´t know how to create them. To do it, they need to follow these instructions carefully:
1. Watch the tutorial video.
2. Go to QR Generator website.
3. Choose text mode and write a text about: ( choose only 1 topic)
- You
- Your city
- Your school
- Your family
4. When you finish, send it by mail to the teacher.
5. If it is correct, you will get an EXTRA POINT!!
Proyecto ETEN
HOy ha dado comienzo la primera sesión del proyecto ETEN. Cuatro maestros intercambiando material, y experiencias en colegios de nuestra ciudad. Un proyecto sencillo que aporta muchas ventajas tanto a docentes como alumnado. Éste es el principio de un proyecto que deseamos tenga una larga vida y cuya familia de centros vaya ampliándose año tras año.
