Students learn about the Cardinal points and read maps.

 

Challenge: Our healthy menus

For this challenge, you have to read the instructions carefully:

1. First, look at this image and read all the information on it.

1. Second, watch the tutorial video to learn how to use the app Canva to create a menu.

3.Now, register in Canva.

4.Click on "Crear un diseño" / Create a design.

5.Go to menu designs.

6.Choose the one you like.

7.Use it to create your own healthy menu. It is very important that your menu is healthy, so revise the image again to choose the best food for people to eat. 

8.You can change icons, colors, texts.... Customize it!!

9.Finally, when you finish it, download and send it to the teacher by mail. You will get an extra point if it is correct!!

  

         

Body art

Children learn about digestive system creating fantastic aprons.

How much do you know about animals?

Students classify animals and complete a chart about their information. When they finish to complete their chart, they can check their information with a classmate to add or correct it. At the end, we will correct all together.

Learning history in English

Today, 5th level students have learnt a lot about History using a Time Machine created by teacher Sofía.  Students have enjoyed a lot and during two weeks they are going to learn more and more.

ETEN day!!

Today, 6th level students, have enjoyed schools exchange activities.
Our students have visited Virgen de las Huertas School to have lot of fun meeting new friends, speaking English and participating in lots of games and activities.

Food and health

Students watch the video and learn about the food pyramid and the importance of healthy food.
Then, they create their own food pyramid using the worksheet and read the inphography to answer some questions.

 

                            

Our ideal school lap books

Students create their ideal school lap books :

• First, they decide in groups different aspects about their ideal schools. 
• They write about their decisions.
• Thirdly, the teacher explains how to create a lap book: concept, material, design...
• Then, they plan how to create their lap books.
• They organize their responsibilities and roles in the group.
• They choose the material they need to make the lap book and start doing it.
• Then, they present it to the rest of the classmates and we make an exposition in the school hall. 
• Finally, they evaluate this activity using the extra copy and write, at least ,three new words they have learnt in this project.
