 Students will learn about classical animal tales . They will learn dialogues to play them on the Book day.

5th and 6th level students tell stories to the youngest children of the school. They also give them a bookmark made by themselves to celebrate bookday.

Shadow puppet theatre

Students create their own stories to represent using shadow puppets. For this activity they:

• Write a play script. ( in groups ):
• They use the  characters given by the teacher.
• Some monuments from Lorca are the settings in the stories. 
• Then, they cut out the silhouttes of their characters.
• They represent their stories using shadow puppets.

Story cubes

Children create their own stories using these creative story cubes. They practice vocabulary and past simple tense in use.

They are very creative and love this activity because they create wonderful funny stories.

Art and crafts: Creating books

Our students create their own stories and their own books with art materials. To make their books they :

1. In groups, children create their stories
2. Children have to take decisions in groups about its format , materials to use, ...
3. They share their team work and every member in the team has a responsibility. 
4. Th group presents and reads the book created.

The story of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter

This is one of the nicest stories for kids. It was writen by Beatrix Potter. We use this story to be involved in for Spring time.

This is a very creative activity in which our students develop the 4 linguistic skills.

• First, they create their own stories with the use of given words.
• Second, they read it and evaluate it with a rubric.
• Then, they represent the story only with the use of their hands while one member of the group reads the story.
