Adapting classical tales

Students adapt classical tales using a collaborative activity in which they have to show their creativity, and their level of  English.
First, they take decisions with their group mates and then, they organize the information they want to develop.
Finally, they write a tale using present or past simple.

Students participate in a collaborative activity about famous people using "group of experts" technique. First, they read information about a person and create posters about him or her.

How much do you know about animals?

Students classify animals and complete a chart about their information. When they finish to complete their chart, they can check their information with a classmate to add or correct it. At the end, we will correct all together.

Challenge: writing stories

In this challenge,  our students are going to write beautiful stories using Storybird.
Follow the instructions:

• Sign up in storybird.
• Click on "create" and choose the art you like.
• Create a cover.
• Then, write a story using at least 4 pages.
• When you finish, save your story.

• Finally, share your story link with the teacher by mail. Copy and paste the link in the email. Write your name and class.

Cooperative work

Students, using 1-2- 4 cooperative technique, write about animals, their habitats, their diets... They have a lot of previous knowledge about it but with the help of their friends they can add much more information.

Ordering the story

Students have an envelope with a story parts. They have to read and put them in order. Then, they will ask some questions about the story.

Now, to practice questions, students find their  pair mate using action cards.

5th level

This is a great challenge because you need the collaboration of your family.

1. First, choose a member of your family to do the challenge.
2. Explain him or her this activity.
3. Record a video asking about what  he/she is  doing and send it to the teacher by WhatsApp. In the video I have to see your question and his or her answer with the action.

Students create beautiful art works about Flamingos. They need to use different techniques to do it : coloring, painting, drawing and also using papers to give a bulk effect.

6th level students create still life art work to represent fruits. They need to use shadows, volumes...

Playing with Present Progressive

5th level students use boardgames to play and use present continous. It´s a simple game to practice in a ludic context and also use game language vocabulary and structures.
