Interviews to famous characters

 Students prepare interviews to famous literature characters. 

They have to decide which questions they can make and how the character will answer these questions.

Question time

 Students practice questions about present simple. To do this, we use different activities and games in class:

- First, they have questions sentences in paper stripes they have to ask and answer in groups.

- Second, they play a board game to talk about their daily activities. ( in groups) 

- Finally, they practice personal information questions in pairs.

Speaking class

Students practice questions and answers using speaking activities. Giving time for speaking activities is absolutely necessary to develop linguistic competence.

Today, students play a simple board game about questions and personal information. They use English to communicate in a ludic way.
Giving our students opportunities to use the foreign language, as they do in their native one, is a fantastic scaffolding for their learning.

Aking questions is sometimes difficult for our students. They need to practice it a lot, so for our speaking class, we have prepared some activities related to it.

First day in English class

This year, new students from 5th level come to my English class. I don´t know them, so we do very simple activities to make them speaking about themselves.

 

Practicing questions

Children practice questions and conversation using  the free chatbot of Alice foundation. It is an artificial intelligence foundation that provides the opportunity to have a conversation about everything.
Using this chatbot in class, gives us the opportunity to:

• practice communication
• use formal and informal language
• write sentences
• mantain a conversation

After practicing conversation with our chatbot, children do some writing activities about questions.

Now, students have to read a question to their friends , and they have to answer the questions.
