Challenge: Creating mind maps

For this challenge we are going to use Popplet to create Winter mind maps. Mind maps are a very useful tool for learning.

First, watch this video about Winter vocabulary. 

Now, read these instructions and follow them step by step:

1. First, go to Popplet web site and sign in it.
2. Then, click on the wall and start creating the principal idea or concept: WINTER.
3. Add an image.
4. Now, organize your mind map in different categories: clothes, food, festivals, weather, actions, objects, colors, months...
5. When you finish with all the vocabulary you know about winter (you can use a dictionary) save your creation. Try to use old and new vocabulary. 
6.  Share it and send it to your teacher´s mail.
7. That´s all!
8. Watch the tutorial video and pay attention to the instructions.

Students create mind maps using Popplet. They need to write about Christmas vocabulary. They can upload videos and images.

Follow the instructions:

• First, go to Popplet website.
• Register in it.
• Create a mind map about CHRISTMAS VOCABULARY
• Add words, images and videos.
• When you finish, download it and send it to the teacher´s mail .
• You will get an extra point!!

Create a mind map about clothes

1. First, click on the following Symbaloo links and revise and learn vocabulary about clothes. 
2. Then, create a Mindmap with POPPLET with all vocabulary  about clothes. 
3. The students who  create the biggest mind map will win an amazing Award Certificate.

Challenge 22: Mind map

In this challenge, students create mind maps about animals classifications using the app POPPLET

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. First, decide how you are going to classiffy animals
2. Second, go to Popplet  website and register
3. Thirdly, create a new Popplet with the title  "ANIMALS"
4. Organise and classify animals in different categories
5. You can write as many animals as you can . Be sure you write with the correct spelling.
6. You can also include multimedia elements such as: videos, images...
7. Finally, share your mind map with the teacher by mail ( pelesa2@hotmail.com)

How many adjectives do you know?

2. Register or Log in if you are already registered.

4. Create your mind map using images and videos.
