Speaking games stations

 Students play different speaking games using a speaking circuit stations. They enjoy a lot changing games and having opportunity to use the foreign language.

Planning our ideal trip

 Students practice future plans by creating their lapbooks about their ideal trip to a Mediterranean country.

They have to decide about:

- What they are going to wear

- What they are going to eat

- What they are going to do there....

When they have decided all theses aspects , they will create their lapbooks. It is a group task where they have to organize their roles and take decisions in common.

Writing biographies

 Students learn about famous pharaohs of the ancient Egypt. They not only learn important facts about their lives, but how to write a biography. They practice past simple tense and the writing structure.

 Students listen to these two audios and do the activities provided.

 Another important civilizacion of the Mediterranean in the past was Ancient Egypt. Let´s learn about it.

 Let´s learn about one of the oldest civilization of Mediterranean.

Painting stones for our school garden

 Children are working a lot in the school garden. They are growing vegetables and taking care of the garden as real proffessional gardeners.

It is the momment to decorate it to be really nice and everyone can visit it. From English class, we are decorating stones with sea pictures. Here we are some nice examples:

     

Chef hat craft

 In groups of 4 students, they design their cook hats taking into acoount marine topic.

Cooperative reading

 Students read about sea turtles and underline the important information about them. 

After that. in groups, they write a short text about the new facts they have learnt.

Cruising the Mediterranean Sea

 Students create cooperative presentations using Google presentations in their Chromebooks. 

- They enter in their Classroom websites and each group chooses a country of the Mediterranean Sea.

-  Then, they click on the link to search information related to facts, food, bordering countries, sports...

- Each student create a different page in the presentation.

- With all the information they have learnt, they complete a little lapbook (suitcase model by Ideas de clase)

- Finally, they show their works to all their classmates. 

Mediterranean recipes

 Students search information about how to cook Mediterranean recipes. Using their Classroom website they can discover the delicious dishes around the Mediterranean Sea.

Then, they choose the recipe they prefer and complete the worksheet to complete a cooperative Cooking book.

          

Cooperative art project

 In groups of 4, students will create this beautiful craft. Each student will do a different element to complete the paper plate sea craft.
